Machined with a 3 axis milling machine out of solid brass, this necklace is inspired by the shape of a honeycomb. It’s not a cast shape, it’s subtractively carved out of a .250” thick sheet of 464 Naval Brass. Honeycomb is 2 inches wide, by 1 inch tall. Chain is 19 inches in length, but can be made shorter on request. After machining it’s polished with a buffing compound and lightly coated with brass lacquer so as not to tarnish or discolor skin. The chain is 14karat gold (not plated or electroplated). Barrel type clasp.
